Google Algorithm Updates

29 January 2016

Another day and another update. Most people don’t realise that most new Google algorithm updates are rolling updates. The sudden and severe updates that were the norm in 2013 and 2014 didn’t bode well for Google, as website owners’ frustrations caused negative consequences for their other products.

John Mueller has today confirmed a new update has just been rolled out. Industry experts have acknowledged that they are noticing changes in their rankings and traffic results. While it has been confirmed it isn’t a Panda update there is still no definitive answer as to what this latest update focuses on. Typically it takes some time for SEO industry experts to gather data and hone in on the elements which are targeted in each update.

James Hammon & Co love updates. We’ve already noticed positive increases across out client base. Because we target positions 1-3 on Page 1, a move from position 3 to 2 or 2 to 1 can have a huge impact on the resulting traffic and sales for our clients.

It’s looking like today will be a good day. Get in touch with us if you want to take your SEO campaign to the professional level.
